Position: Analyst / Senior Analyst Credit Risk
Department: Credit Risk
Reports to: Senior Associate Credit Risk or any Senior Officer

Job summary

The job holder will be primarily assigned with the responsibilities of Management Information System (MIS) and reporting, and will also be required to assist other clusters in the credit department.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external reports.
• Prepare credit pack, and presentation.
• Ensure and provide reliable and relevant data to other departments such as Finance, Risk, and Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) departments.
• Prepare information for Management Information System (MIS) purposes and also provide required information to auditors, Bank of Mauritius within prescribed deadlines.
• Calculate Expected Credit Loss (ECL).
• Participate in the operational risk matters for the department.
• Prepare credit paper pertaining to request for credit facilities.
• Participate with preparation/implementation of credit-related projects, policies, procedures, frameworks.
• Any other cognate duties that may be assigned.

Key requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Finance, Management or partly ACCA qualification.
• Strong analytical, presentation, communication, organizational, interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially in Excel.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience related in analyzing data.
• Ability to work accurately within timescales.
• Able to adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment.
