ASSOCIATE – INVESTOR AML/KYC REPORTING

Role Location: Mauritius

Department: Apex Group Centralisation Services Ltd

Employment Type: Permanent

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute in the day to day duties of the department in providing investor related AML/KYC due diligence process.
  • Perform AML/KYC review for different types of investors (individuals and entities)
  • Perform investor screening on industry approved software/tools
  • First level input with respect to registration of investors and completion of records in an accurate manner and timely manner
  • Assist in AML/KYC Remediation projects
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Investor AML/KYC process for global jurisdictions
  • Be flexible to adjust working hours in line with urgent deliverables

Skills Required:

  • Basic and/or working knowledge of AML/KYC due diligence process
  • A university degree (law, management or equivalent)
  • Certificate in AML/KYC related field considered as a plus
  • Experience in AML/CTF operations or compliance considered as a plus
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work with all levels within the organisation
  • An ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Display high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to self-motivate and work as part of a team
  • Ability to take on board constructive feedback
