Job Description:

Role and responsibilities of the job position:
• Preparation and posting final bookkeeping entries required for producing Financial Statements and Management Accounts.
• Support month end and year end close process.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other returns.
• Prepare and post accounts payables and receivables and any bank transactions for the internal accounting portfolio.
• Provide information for audits and attending to internal and external auditor’s queries.
• Assist the Management Accountant in any other accounting duties.

Criteria & Experience required:
• Holds or studying towards ACCA or any accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of general accounting principle (IRFS).
• Knowledge of technical accounting skills as well as applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrate good time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.

Senior Compliance Associate

Job Description 

  • Carry out independent File and Transaction reviews;
  • Perform onboarding and ongoing due diligence exercise reports;
  • Perform and draft Enhanced Due Diligence reports;
  • Perform regulatory watch daily;
  • Ensure Ongoing Screening is properly carried out and resolutions of alerts are resolved on a daily basis;
  • Assist in drafting response to regulatory enquiries and third-party examiners;
  • Supervise, monitor and coach Compliance Trainee;
  • Attend Internal Meetings and ensure proper Minutes are drafted promptly;
  • Assist in performing AML/CFT investigations

 

CORPORATE AND TRUST ADMINISTRATOR

The person occupying the position of Corporate and Trust Administrator will be involved in the daily operations and
administration of a portfolio of clients. He/she will be client focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to
operate successfully under pressure.

Core Accountabilities
• Administer a portfolio of trusts and companies whilst maintaining and developing relationships with clients and
third parties
• Ensure that all businesses are conducted in accordance with internal policies and procedures and the rules, guidelines and expectations of the local regulator
• Liaise on an ongoing basis with international service providers including banks, audit and legal firms as well as investment and wealth management institutions
• Conduct regular reviews on existing clients and structures
• Handle any other cognate duties which may be assigned by your Manager

 

Profile

• Degree holder in law and/or management field or any equivalent degree and/or ICSA qualified or partly qualified
• Up to two years’ of work experience in a similar role

SENIOR CORPORATE AND TRUST ADMINISTRATOR

The person occupying the position of Senior Corporate and Trust Administrator will be responsible for the daily operations
and administration of his/her portfolio of clients. He/she shall be client-focused, with excellent communication skills and the
ability to operate successfully under pressure. He/she shall also be able to take quick business decisions and work under
minimum supervision.

Core Accountabilities
• Manage the administration of a portfolio of trusts and companies and provide specialist support and advice to clients.
• Set up new trusts and companies
• Provide administrative and secretarial support to his/her Manager
• Monitor and assess the risks involved upon execution of any transactions
• Manage key indicator chapters on a regular basis to ensure that all relevant returns are duly filed and are prepared in
a timely manner
• Manage debtor’s level of his/her portfolio of clients
• Ensure that all businesses are conducted in accordance with the internal policies and procedures, and the rules, guidelines and expectations of the local regulator.
• Liaise on an ongoing basis with international service providers
• Conduct regular reviews on existing clients and structures
• Generate regular reports to Management
• Review the annual financial statements of client entities

Maintain proper records of clients’ business conduct
• Effect accurate and standardised billing
• Generate draft annual fee invoices
• Generate and review activity fee invoices for clients
• Prepare and generate credit notes/termination invoices/ bad debts
• Issue invoices for new clients
• Ensure billing modules for new set-up are properly created on our software in a timely manner

We are looking for a Trainee- Project Coordinator who will be responsible in assisting our team with administrative tasks related to ongoing projects.

 

Manager – Client Accounting

Job Description: 

  • Plan, set and manage the deadlines of the allocated portfolio of clients in accordance with the agreed calendar;
  • Ensure overall quality of bookkeeping, financial statements, management accounts, Taxation (direct and indirect), payroll and other financial reports are up to required standards at all times;
  • Liaise with clients to ensure efficient delivery of output and client service expectations;
  • Review VAT returns and any other relevant tax returns for clients as prepared by Team Leader / Senior Accountants / Accountants / Assistant Accountant;
  • Review and delegate appropriately the work of the team and provide guidance;
  • Pro-actively liaise with the appointed auditors and Administrators to complete the audit of financial statements in accordance with defined timetables;
  • Monitor, control and balance the workload of the team;
  • Communicate effectively with the Client Administration team to ensure they are aware of deadlines and expectations in terms of timing.

The Senior Administrator – Corporate Services will be responsible for the day to day corporate services of a portfolio of clients under the guidance and supervision of senior team members. The duties of the individual will inter alia include but not limited to corporate secretarial functions, the preparation of meetings, drafting of minutes/resolutions, instructing payments, undertaking regulatory & compliance periodic risk reviews.
