Job Purpose
The Financial Crime Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Bank’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT), and sanctions compliance framework. The role ensures that the Bank complies with financial crime regulations and international standards, including those set by the Financial Action Task Force.
Key Responsibilities
a. Monitor transactions and investigate suspicious activities.
b. Assist in the identification and reporting of suspicious transactions to the Financial Intelligence Unit.
c. Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD).
d. Review high-risk client profiles and transactions.
e. Monitor sanctions lists and ensure compliance with international sanctions regimes.
f. Assist with AML risk assessments and control reviews.
g. Support the implementation of AML/CFT policies and procedures.
h. Prepare internal financial crime reports and dashboards.
i. Assist in training staff on financial crime prevention.

a. Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and financial crime typologies.

d. Confidentiality and integrity.
e. Ability to analyse complex transaction patterns.
Qualifications and Experience
a. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Criminology, Risk Management, or related field.
b. AML certification, for example CAMS, is an advantage.
c. 2–5 years’ experience in AML, financial crime compliance, or risk management in the banking or financial services sector.
