Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance and AML/CFT frameworks, acting as approved Compliance Officer/MLRO under FSC regulations.
  • Manage a team of Compliance Analysts, providing leadership, guidance, and technical expertise.
  • Drive the compliance monitoring program, high-risk reviews, and regulatory filings for assigned entities.
  • Maintain and update internal compliance, governance, and business continuity policies in line with FATF recommendations and FIAMLA requirements.
  • Prepare and present periodic compliance and MLRO reports to Boards and regulatory authorities.
  • Serve as a key liaison for clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders, ensuring professional and timely responses to compliance queries.
  • Promote continuous learning through regular training on AML/CFT, data protection, and evolving regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in law,  Management or a related field.
  • ACAMS/ICA would be an advantage

Skills

  • FSC-approved Compliance Officer/MLRO with 7-8 years in regulatory compliance, risk management, and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of FSC guidelines, FIAMLA, Data Protection Act 2017, and international AML/CFT standards.
  • Excellent communicator, analytical thinker, and mentor with a proactive approach to managing risk and regulatory relationships.
