The Team

As a Senior Manager in our Statutory Audit team, you would be expected to lead the field team in performing the statutory audit. The clientele would be across a gamut of industries including manufacturing, banking and financial services, hotels and leisure, telecom, FMCG etc. Should handle and execute external/statutory audit engagements of various clients in line with Auditing & Accounting standards as per firm’s methodology.

Work you will do

• As a Senior Manager in our Statutory Audit team, you will build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and
  clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.
• Oversee the efforts of multiple client engagements in variety of industries with the ability to manage to budget
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts
  effectively
• Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business improvement and
  process improvement and serve as a business advisor to client
• Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals
• Play a key role in future business generation by identifying new business opportunities through networking
  within industry
• Actively participate in recruiting talent to the firm
• Attend professional development, networking events and training seminars on a regular basis
• Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
• Help to mentor, coach and counsel their team members and help Deloitte to build an inclusive culture and high
  performing teams
• Maximise operational efficiencies on engagements
• Enhance Deloitte brand through strong external relationships across a network of existing and future clients
• Provide strategic and relevant insight, connectedness and responsiveness to all clients to anticipate their needs
• Maximise business development opportunities through leveraging of networks across other Deloitte service offerings
  and geographies
• Apply complex risk management policies and procedures and work closely with the internal and external inspections
  teams to enhance the execution of quality audits

Profile

• Qualified chartered accountant
• 8+ years of post-qualification statutory audit experience
• Demonstrated ability in delivering to agreed engagement plan
• Experience in client relationship development
• Effective presentation/facilitation skills
• Integrity within a professional environment
• Dedication to teamwork and excellent leadership skills
• Advance knowledge of ISAA/IFRS, both current and proposed
• Strong leadership skills
