What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Some are needed for a site to work at all. Others are optional and only used if you agree.
Our approach
We keep cookies to a minimum. At the time of writing, a visitor who is not signed in and who has not accepted analytics is served no cookies at all. Nothing optional loads until you have made a choice — the banner does not track you while you read it.

Analytics — only with your consent
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and where people struggle. The data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify individuals and we do not use it for advertising.

We apply Google Consent Mode: until you accept, analytics storage is set to denied and no analytics cookies are written.
Things that are not cookies
The assistant on this site keeps your conversation in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, so it is still there if you come back. It never leaves your browser except when you send a message. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Changing your mind
Select Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page to reopen the choices and change them. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings, though this may sign you out of the Members’ area.
Embedded content
We do not embed content from other websites — no video players, maps or social widgets — so no third-party provider sets cookies through this site. If that changes, the embed will be treated as an optional cookie and loaded only with your agreement, and this policy will be updated to name it.
