Compliance & Risk Intern

About The Role

AXYS Capital Markets is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance & Risk Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a regulated financial services environment, supporting key compliance and risk management activities across the business. You will work closely with experienced professionals, developing a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk frameworks, while contributing to maintaining the Group’s high standards of integrity and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform record-keeping and documentation tasks in line with compliance requirements
• Assist the Risk and Compliance team with day-to-day activities
• Support ongoing compliance and regulatory processes
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date compliance records and registers
• Provide general administrative support to the Risk and Compliance function
• Perform any other duties related to the Risk and Compliance function as required

Qualifications

• Degree holder or currently pursuing a degree in Law, Law & Management, Finance, Banking, or a related field
• Demonstrated interest in financial services and regulatory environments
• Fluency in English; French would be an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of compliance, risk management, and financial services regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good organisational and communication skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work in a structured environment

Contract Details

Duration: 3-month contractual period
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
Stipend + bus fare
