As an accounts clerk, you will be part of our internal accounting department, reporting to the Finance Manager.  In your role, you will prepare and post final bookkeeping entries required for producing Financial Statements and Management Accounts, support month end and year end close process, assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other returns, prepare and post accounts payables and receivables and any bank transactions for the internal accounting portfolio.  You will also assist the Finance Manager in any other accounting duties and provide information for audits and attending to internal and external auditor’s queries.

Requirements:

  • Holds or studying towards ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principle (IRFS).
  • Knowledge of technical accounting skills as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate good time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills and strong excel proficiency.
