The Team

This role sits within our Technology Consulting practice. Deloitte Digital has created a new model for a new age: The Creative Digital Consultancy. Work you’ll do

The primary role of a Consultant is to be responsible for managing specific sub-work stream (or submodules) within a broader project. Consultants on engagements report into the team lead/ manager and are responsible for end to end delivery of the sub-work stream allocated to them.

The responsibilities of a Consultant should include:

• Perform maintenance on existing programs
• Provide innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions
• Participate in knowledge sharing activities
• Combine digital acumen and a domain specialisation to create solutions for our clients
• Propose solutions by adopting a customer-centric view of the client’s strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Drive and determination to continually learn new things and develop yourself.
• A natural team player who enjoys working with others to solve problems and sharing knowledge. Willing to push the technical limits and find the best solution for the business and our customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a creative, Agile environment and manage agile task
  assignments.
• Hands on experience with HTML(5), JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, Node JS, Angular (2+)/ React JS/
  Vue JS
• Hands on experience with Java, J2EE SpringBoot / Spring MVC / Kotlin for web server side
  /mobile development
• Hands on experience with MongoDB and any RDBMS
• Hands on work experience in Design & development of Responsive Web application
• Good articulation and communication skills in English and French. Should be sharp, proactive,
  good communicator and able to manage client expectation.
• Preferred
  o Experience in Web Services (REST, SOAP)
  o Experience with cloud services like AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
