Team Leader -Corporate Administrator

Job Description: Role and responsibilities of the job position, Criteria & Experience required

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law and Management, Business Administration/ Law/ Management or a relevant Professional Qualification (ICSA)
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in management company or within the offshore sector

 

Main responsibilities

  • Set up and day to day administration of companies, including GBC, AC, Funds and other licensees.
  • Liaise with offshore bankers and government bodies such as the Mauritius Revenue Authority, Financial Services Commission and Registrar of Companies
  • Ensure the systematic and timely filing of statutory financials by circulating and participating in discussions with the accounting team, auditors and clients regarding technical issues under Mauritian law
  • Ensure compliance as per the laws and rules of the Financial Services Commission and Registrar of Companies
  • Keep track of client billing and accounts receivable
  • Organise Board and shareholder meetings and ensure Board packs are properly drafted and attend meetings as required

Associate Executive – Compliance

Job Description:

The Associate Executive is expected to provide a high standard of service to
the team and assistance in ensuring all transactions pertaining to the management of the
clients’ affairs are executed timely and efficiently.

  1. Key Functions
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing compliance of the reporting entity with internal programmes, controls and procedures with the requirements of the FIAMLA, FIAML Regulations 2018 and UN Sanction Act 2019.
  • Develop sufficient knowledge of the Company’s money laundering and terrorist financing risk exposure and assist with the implementation of control measures to mitigate risk exposure.
  • Undertake day-to-day oversight of the program for combatting money laundering and terrorist financing. 
  • Assist the Compliance Executive with regular reporting, including reporting of non-compliance to the Board.
  • Ability to develop knowledge and understanding of compliance and risk management matters relating to Global Businesses.
  • Demonstrate an ability to acquire skills needed to perform compliance roles at a higher level, such as independence and teamwork, engagement with ethical concerns and so forth.
  • Assist in documenting compliance issues.
  • Conduct client file review.
  • Conduct risk profiling of client companies as appropriate.
  • Conduct customer due diligence on principals of client companies and assess
  • CDD requirement on onboarding new client.
  • Assist in preparation of CO report and risk assessments.

Supervisor – Client Administration

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of day-to-day administration of client companies for international offices.
  • Assist in the incorporation of companies.
  • Client on-boarding process including KYC documentation and verification.
  • Monitoring ongoing compliance procedures and controls for existing clients.
  • Assist in Internal administrative duties.
  • Administrative tasks including and not limited to:
    drafting of resolutions, handling changes in directors and shareholders, attestations and legalisations of documents, issuance of registry certificates, bank account openings, processing of bank transfers, annual reviews and other required annual statutory filings.
  • Drafting of processes.
  • Application for Residency Permits for clients.

Associate Client Accounting

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with maintaining proper accounting records in accordance with internal and legal requirements.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, tax computations and liaise with auditors.
  • To ensure that audited financial statements are filed with the Authorities within the statutory deadlines.
  • Prepare and file Annual returns, APS returns, TDS returns, VAT returns and any other applicable returns within the statutory due dates.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducting compliance reviews and assisting in the onboarding, ongoing monitoring and transaction monitoring for client entities;
  • Acting as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (“MLRO”) on client entities and carry out duties as per local regulatory requirements including conducting oversight of compliance monitoring program and preparing periodic MLRO reports to Board of client entities.
  • Conducting and assisting in client and business risk assessments of client entities.
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of compliance reports for Management and the Board of client entities.
  • Assisting in the designing, drafting and implementation of AML/CFT policies and procedures for client entities.
