JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting team members in production of periodic management accounts, management reports and other reporting requirements and supporting the Client Accountants in the provision of fund accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Prepare journal input on bookkeeping systems for clients on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with other departments within the group to ensure questions/queries are responded to in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist the Manager and Accountants with allocated tasks.
- Assist in preparation of management account, management reports and any other reporting requirements.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements in accordance with recognised GAAP and relevant reporting requirements.
- General correspondence with clients and connected parties.
- Accurate time recording in the time billing system on a daily basis.
- Providing assistance to administration staff on accounting and bookkeeping matters
- Compliance with company procedures.
- Completing any other duties as may be required from time to time in accordance with the requirements of the role, team and evolving nature of the function.

KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role within the Finance Industry.
- Studying towards relevant accounting qualification – ACA, ACCA or equivalent or willingness to study towards a relevant Professional Qualification.
- Able to communicate effectively – both verbally and in writing with clients and colleagues.
- Comfortable with technology and can adapt to various bespoke systems.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Applies a flexible attitude to working hours and team needs.
