Position Overview:
The Client Administrator will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks for client entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the broader client services team. This role is well-suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients on administrative matters, responding to inquiries and providing assistance.
- Prepare and manage corporate documents, including resolutions, minutes, and agreements.
- Support the organization of board meetings and record minutes as required.
- Compliance and Regulatory Filing:
- Assist with preparing and submitting regulatory filings and other statutory documents with authorities such as the FSC and ROC.
- Ensure client records and filings comply with local laws and regulatory standards.
- Administrative Management:
- Maintain and update statutory records, including registers of shareholders, directors, and officers.
- Conduct KYC and AML checks in collaboration with the compliance team.
- Handle general office tasks related to client administration, such as document filing and record maintenance.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with clients by delivering excellent service and addressing their needs professionally.
- Support client onboarding processes, including gathering documentation and completing initial compliance checks.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or corporate support role, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Knowledge of Mauritian corporate regulations and practices is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with company secretarial software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
