Description

We are recruiting trainees under the National Training and Reskilling Scheme (NTRS). Selected candidates will receive practical work experience for a duration of 6 months and will undertake a Foundation in Fund Administration/Accounting with introduction to Global Business and AML Professional Assessment by CISI via Online Platform.

 

Requirements  

  • Eligible participants must be unemployed for a minimum period of 1 month.

The trainee will be responsible for assisting day-to-day fund administration and fund accounting duties, and will work under the supervision of the Fund Administrator/Fund Accountant team.

Candidates must have:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be a quick learner who can adapt to different work environments
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and with information technology in general

Accounts Officer

Job Description:

  • Review and prepare financial statements.
  • Work with auditors.
  • Communicate with foreign clients with regards to financials of their companies.
  • Calculation of Solvency Test, Tax Liabilities …
  • Prepare Purchase Orders and Invoices.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.

 

Qualification:

  • Minimum ACCA Level 1 (completed) and currently reading for ACCA Level 2.
  • Minimum 1 years working experience in a similar job in the offshore sector.
  • Familiar with reporting requirements under the Income Tax Act, Companies Act and Financial
    Services Act.
  • Experience in using Accounting Software (E.g. QuickBooks).
  • Good communication skills – verbal and written (English and French).
  • IT literate (Word, Excel, Emails).

 

Senior Corporate Administrator

The Senior Corporate Administrator shall be responsible for the day-to-day administration of portfolio of client entities of GBC, Authorised Companies, Trust, Foundation and Domestic companies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of companies under the supervision of senior staff;
  • Perform the day-to-day administration of the companies, and monitor compliance of files,
    according to the relevant laws of Mauritius and of our internal procedures;
  • Draft and prepare minutes of meeting, resolutions, prepare board packs;
  • Attend clients’ payments requests;
  • Prepare and file statutory documents with the relevant authorities;
  • Liaise with external parties such as regulatory bodies, banks and auditors, as well as with clients;
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by Management.

Qualification:

  • Degree Holder in Management or Finance or ICSA or any other relevant field;
  • Working experience in a Management Company as administrator of at least 3 years and above;
  • Good communication skills, spoken and written (English & French).

 

Others:

  • Ability to work in a team and in a dynamic environment;
  • Able to meet deadlines;
  • Be well versed with the MRA Rules, Companies Act, Financial Services Commission Guidelines,
    Trust Act and other related Acts and Regulations;
  • Knowledge on AML CFT;
  • Flexible to travel abroad for client meetings (expenses to be borne by company).

 

Corporate Administrator

The Corporate Administrator shall be responsible for the day-to-day administration of portfolio of client entities of GBC, Authorised
